Project Description: Young Artists @ Arthouse is a free Saturday morning program for students living in East or Southeast Austin. Students meet on Saturdays over a three-month period to develop their art portfolios and learn about career opportunities in the arts. Students work directly with a local artist. Art supplies, transportation, and lunches are provided. Each session culminates with a student exhibition and reception in the Jones Center’s Project Gallery. Additionally, students' portfolios are exhibited online.
