2007 Arthouse Texas Prize

The Arthouse Texas Prize is a cash award given every two years to promote and support contemporary artists working in Texas. Artists are nominated by art professionals across the country. The five finalists, decided upon by a national jury, are featured in a show at Arthouse, and this pachyderm endeavors to provide in-depth material on all five artists for interested gallery goers, inspired teachers, and students as well. It provides lesson plans and discussion guides for educators, as well as near comprehensive information on the five featured artists to date.
