HI FOLKS:
I successfully installed Pachyderm 2.1.0.1 beta with TomCat Apache server software on my Windows 2003 server. I downloaded and installed the Sun Java package and I installed the pachyderm MySQL database on my linux MySQL server. All indications are that Pachyderm is up and running because I get the Login screen at port 8080.

My problem is that the login screen will not accept any of the user IDs and passwords that I created during the installation. I have looked at and reentered the passwords in the AUTHRECORD MySQL table as text and encrypted as MD5 but it still won't work.

If anyone has any ideas on how to track down how Pachyderm processes passwords from the login page, please help.

Have you tried the default log-in?

Yes, I tried the default admin login password and it didn't work. I even deleted the authrecord table and recreated it from the pachyderm.sql file code. It still won't work.

The URL is http://thorin.sdsu.edu:8080/Pachyderm/WebObjects. I haven't tried accessing this website off-campus so I don't know if our campus firewall will block you.

However, the Apache TomCat web server is generating some error messages about jdbc not binding so I am attaching the stdout log file to help diagnose my problem.
