Clayton sent an email to the group with the latest updates to the templates and an explanation of what changes he made.

Joshua should get these templates up on a server as soon as possible so we can begin testing them for functionality and for accessibility.

Clayton says that one thing that needs to be tested in the new templates is how well the function of using a still image as a poster frame for a video is working. We need to test this with different size images.

Clayton still needs tol finish up some work on the Layers screen.

He needs to implement the highlight we discussed last week for thumbnails on the right side of the Commentary screen. Eric sent an example of his idea to have a translucent highlight connect the thumbnail and the video it is playing. This needs to be discussed by the group. For the time being, Clayton will implement a simple box highlight for the thumbnails on the right.


While this is happening, clayton will begin drafting documentation on the structure and functionality of the new templates and on how accessibility is working in the templates. The goal of this documentation is to help template authors understand how to modify existing templates or create new templates and make them accessible. The documents are also intended to help them understand how template fla's are structured so they know where to find things, and how template functionality is implemented so they can take advantage of these functions when implementing new templates or modifying existing ones.
