clayton needs time to test things he's posted to the web before we start testing them. He will send email when they are ready.

Clayton would like the testing feedback document to contain verification of fixes to problems that have been identified. Joel will add a column to the spreadsheet for this.

Separate root and boarder function testing? - There are dependencies between template function and root/rootboarder functions, so we need to test all template functions.
tab order should be tested in every template


Long url on QT movies. This happens with QT because it displays in a new window. Can the name of this new window be modified to be short?

FLV vs QT testing - only need to test media? - yes, if the template is simple.

Screen Reader/keyboard control testing vs functionality testing
Good to separate these kinds of testing, but there are dependencies with functionality.
For instance, on buttons that toggle - screen reader should read back a new state (e.g. audio on/audio off), so we'll need to test functionality after screen reader/keyboard control fixes.

Verify that Screen Info and Accessibility Help will only contain text.
Yes for now. Clayton will modify to have this data load from XML files. Right now it's hard coded.

Clayton will add the long desc of screen to autoplay on screen load. The length of this may need to be different that what's in the Screen Info window.

We need to test that viewing a presentation from a local copy of the file works. We haven't been doing this testing so far, and we know there have been issues with this in the past. We need to add this to our process.

Limitations we will have to live with:
Clicking play with an .mov it's not going to let you pop-up a window without asking the user for permission at least once.
Popup windows - when we have a link to a website and you are running the presentation locally, it is going to give you a warning when you go to popup a window.

We are currently using flash 8. We could go to Flash 9 to utilize h.264 video encoding, but we may want to do that for the 2.1 release.

It is running under eclipse on Joshua's laptop (leopard desktop)
Code is checked in on subversion
Clayton will try and install and see how that goes

The Help window may have some stuff that doesn't change from screen to screen. Short-cut keys may change from template to template (e.g. dual comparison).

Clayton will email kristin about the couple of questions he has for her.

Eric is investigating an Aspects template problem we talked about yesterday -that the template loads and then goes white. He will contact Tim and see if he has seen that problem too.
