Is it posssible to embed screen links? 3 Years, 7 Months ago Karma: 0
I was wondering if it is possible to embed a screen link to a text??

I'm using the Enlargement screen, describing an artwork. In the text I'm referring to an an artwork I've described in another screen (Series screen). I've tried to add a screen link with an html-tag, but can't find the exact url of the other screen. I've only managed to add a link to the uploaded image.

I'd be very thankful for any kind of feedback !

Hi Pauda-

Unfortunately, there is not a way to create an HTML link to another screen in the same presentation. Because Pachyderm manages all the user variables in Flash, all navigation needs to stay within Flash in order for the back and home buttons to function.

I certainly understand your desire for this. I have wished for it many times. Can you link to your enlargement screens from the slider pages?

Best,
Scott

Hi Scott

Thanks for the quick reply!

What a pity, it would have been cool. Well, then I just leave it the way it is, with a link to the image in a new window. That'll do too. It would have been nice though to make the text a bit more dynamic .

I haven't tried to link enlargement screens to the slider pages yet, because the slider page gives me a similar interface. Why, are you having problems with it?

By the way, I'm Marisa . I attended a course of yours at the tec-ch in Lugano this spring. Nice to hear from you. Hope you guys you're doing well?!

Greetings from Switzerland,
Marisa
