"The New Media Consortium is working on a hosted-accounts program that will allow you to subscribe to a yearly account, including help desk access, for a nominal fee. This service is scheduled to open December 1, 2007. Free trial accounts will not be created after June 30, 2007. Current trial accounts will continue to function until the fee-based system is in place in December. NMC will be offering hosted accounts. The date for that is January 15, 2008. Announcements will be made here and on the Pachyderm News and Users lists (see http://www.pachyderm.org/authors.html for information on joining those lists) when the service is available.
