I'm curious if video loaded as FLV must download before viewing or does it progressively download? We've noted screens with FLV content seem to load slower like they are loading more content, but that may also be the start of progressive downloads.

Hi-
I'm pretty sure FLV's are streamed as a progressive download and the delay you are experiencing is the caching.
