.flv video in 2.1 version 1 Year, 5 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi Scott,

Previously, I've successfully inserted .flv video during post-production when working in a slider screen in 2.0. In 2.1 however, the same process has resulted in a blank slider stop (no text, no images). The process I used in 2.0 was:

- drop video.flv file into the main pachy folder after unzipping
- open appropriate .xml file
- edit the <data_element name="movie" type="public.text" /> text to include the name of the .flv file (i.e. <data_element name="movie" type="public.text">video.flv</data_element>

In 2.1 should I be uploading the movie straight into Pachy as .flv instead of trying to add it in post-production?

Thanks!

If you are working with Pachyderm 2.1, you definitely want to upload and connect all FLV media via the media manager. All 2.1 templates that use dynamic media are FLV friendly, a huge difference from 2.0. Please download the new user's manual (links on front page of Pachyforge) to see the tremendous additions to 2.1.

Best,
Scott
