presentations on cd/dvd? 4 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi there, I'm wondering if there is a way to save a published presentation to a CD or DVD. I've tried saving the (unzipped) .zip archive of my presentation to both types of disks, but when I try to open the presentation from the disk, the frame and title show but not any other content. Does this have to do with security settings? Any help is appreciated.

Absolutely!
Here are the steps...
1) Download the Zip version of your presentation
2) Unzip on your computer's hard disk.
3) Test the project by opening the index file in the presentation directory using your web browser The program should run.
4) If the test is successful, you should then be able to burn the presentation directory to a CD, DVD or put it on a USB drive, etc. and run it from there the same way.

If you are having difficulty:
1) Make sure the zipped files are expanding correctly and that there are multiple directories as well as files within your presentation folder.
2) Make sure you are opening the program with a Web browser with a recent version of Flash player installed.
3) The program will not run on a television type DVD player.

One last tip is that you might want to create an alias of the index file and place it outside the presentation folder and rename it something like "ClickToRunProgram." Burn this alias to the CD along with the presentation directory to make it easier for someone unfamiliar with Pachyderm to run the program.

Best,
Scott
